Frightful Keening (Su): [sonic, mind-affecting, fear] As a standard action, a death giant can trigger the guardian souls that waft around its body to wail in frightful anguish until the giant takes a standard action to deactivate the ability. Living creatures within 100 ft. who hear the wailing of the death giant's guardian souls must make a Will DC 30 save or be panicked. This panic persists as long as they are within 100 ft. of the death giant and can hear the souls, and they are also shaken for 24 hours.
Steal Soul (Su): [death] Any living creature with 10 or fewer hit points within 15 ft. of a death giant must succeed on a Fortitude save (DC 30) each round it remains in this state or die instantly. This is continually active. Creatures who die within 15 ft. of a death giant (by any means) has its spirit sucked up into the swirling guardian souls that protect the death giant. Such creatures cannot be raised, resurrected, or reincarnated so long as the death giant lives. Killing the death giant releases all the souls it has captured in this fashion.
Soul Healing (Su): A death giant is healed by both positive and negative energy.
Divine Spell Resistance (Su): An ur-priest has spell resistance 15, but only against divine spells and the spell-like abilities of outsiders.
Sold Soul (Ex): A death giant cannot be raised, resurrected, or reincarnated. If a death giant's soul is not taken as a guardian soul by another death giant or kept from departing by some other means, it is utterly destroyed 1 round after the giant's death.
Guardian Souls (Su): A death giant's victims become its guardians in death. These spirits provide the death giant with warning and protection, granting the creature a bonus on initiative rolls, saves, Listen checks, and Spot checks equal to its Charisma modifier. A successful turning attempt that would turn an undead with 30 hit dice causes the death giant's guardian souls to vanish for 1d10 rounds. While they are gone, the death giant loses the benefits of guardian souls, frightful keening, soul healing, and steal soul.
Rock Catching (Ex): Once per round, when a death giant would be hit by a rock or similar projectile, he can make a Reflex save to catch it as a free action. The DC is 15 for Small rocks, 20 for Medium rocks, and 25 for Large rocks. If the projectile has an enhancement bonus on its attack roll, the DC increases by that amount. The giant must be ready for and aware of the attack to use rock catching.
Rebuke Undead (Su): The death giant ur-priest can rebuke undead as a 7th level Cleric.
Siphon Spell Power (Su): An ur-priest can sacrifice two or more spell slots in order to prepare a higher-level spell slot. The new spell is the equivalent of (sum of sacrificed spell levels x 3/4) - i.e. two 2nd level spell slots can be sacrificed to prepare a 3rd level slot.
